Sovah Health Welcomes New Family Medicine Obstetrics Provider

Sovah Health is pleased to announce that Yolanda Paylor, MD, has joined its team as a fulltime faculty member with the Family Medicine (FM) Residency Program effective January 30, 2025. Since October 2021, Dr. Paylor served as a part-time FM/OB faculty with the FM program, in addition to her full-time responsibilities providing Family Medicine and Obstetrics care at PATHS (Piedmont Access to Health Services).
As a full-time FM/OB faculty, Dr. Paylor will continue to provide formal teaching, mentoring, and advising for the Family Medicine residents. She will also perform administrative and clinical responsibilities.

Dr. Paylor received her Doctor of Medicine at the University of North Carolina (Chapel Hill, N.C.), completed her residency in family medicine at St Francis Medical Center (Midlothian, Va.), and completed her fellowship in maternal child health at West Suburban Medical Center (Oak Park, Ill.).
While Dr. Paylor serves our community as a family medicine provider, obstetrician (specializing in prenatal and postpartum care), and FM Residency faculty, she is also available for preventative health exams, pediatric care, obstetrical ultrasound and Nonstress Test (NST), chronic and acute illnesses, women’s health, minor office procedures, certified to perform deliveries, and school and sports physicals.
