Graduate Medical Education
The Graduate Medical Education Program at Sovah Health is dually accredited (AOA and ACGME) and is dedicated to training physicians to be the best possible primary care physicians. The program began July 1, 2010 and is affiliated with the Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine (VCOM), Liberty University College of Osteopathic Medicine (LUCOM) and Osteopathic Medical Network of Excellence in Education (OMNEE), the regional postgraduate training institution. School of Health Professions
The Sovah School of Health Professions offers an Associated in Applied Science Degree through our School of Health Professions. It is a full-time, 2-year hospital based program. Click here to learn more.
Nurse Residency Program
Sovah Health's Nurse Residency Program fosters a safe learning environment to effectively transition to the specific nursing specialty assigned. Nurse residency programs can benefit nurses who recently graduated nursing school or who are new to their chosen nursing specialty. It includes preceptorship training with preceptors that have been trained to assist in filling the individualized learning needs. It also includes didactic classroom sessions, simulated clinical sessions, and field trips to areas to supplement learning needs. The program also offers individualized care by our coordinator who assists in ensuring your success in the program.
