Sovah Health Welcomes New Orthopedic Surgeon

Sovah Health announced that Patrick Szukics, DO has joined its medical staff and is providing orthopedic care for patients at Sovah Orthopedics & Sports Medicine – Martinsville.

Dr. Szukics received his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (Philadelphia, PA) and completed his residency at Jefferson Health NJ (Stratford, NJ). He completed his fellowship training at UHZ Baptist Health Sports Medicine Institute (Miami, FL) where he was able to provide care for professional athletes with the Miami Dolphins, Miami Heat, Florida Panthers, Inter Miami F.C., as well as Division 1 collegiate football players with FIU and FAU.

Dr. Szukics specializes in sports medicine, cartilage restoration surgery for arthritis, joint preservation, shoulder replacement surgery, and minimally invasive arthroscopic surgery of knee, shoulder, hip, and ankle.
