Sovah Health Welcomes New Cardiology Nurse Practitioner

Sovah Health announced that Jennifer Durham, NP has joined its medical staff and is offering cardiology services at Sovah Heart and Vascular - Danville.

“Jennifer has been a valuable member of the Sovah Health team for many years, contributing her expertise in several different departments throughout both Sovah campuses," said Steve Heatherly, Market President of Sovah Health. "Her extensive knowledge in cardiovascular health will be instrumental to our program and ensuring our community has access to high-quality care close to home.”

Jennifer received her Doctorate in Adult Gerontological - Nurse Practitioner and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) at UNC Greensboro in Greensboro, NC.

At Sovah Heart and Vascular – Danville, Jennifer specializes in cardiovascular services including rounding on cardiac patients, coordination of follow-up care for cardiac patients, evaluation and assessment of cardiac patients in the emergency room and clinic, assisting with care plan for cardiac patients, and patient education. She will also be seeing patients in the hospital under the direction of the attending cardiologist. She is accepting new patients and appointments can be made by calling 434.791.3009.
